Management of Yousuien

ARKRAY Headquarters, Kyoto Laboratory is located inside the premises of the Japanese Garden named Yousuien in Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto.
The history of Yousuien goes back to the Muromachi era when Mitsumoto Hosokawa, a deputy to the fourth shogun Yoshimochi Ashikaga, built his residence on this land using building materials left over from the construction of Kinkaku-ji. Yousuien, created in the Edo era, offers visitors the chance to enjoy various scenery from season to season with a Japanese garden style called "Chisen-kaiyushiki" where visitors can stroll around the central pond to appreciate the garden.

In 2011, ARKRAY started to maintain the garden and constructed our company's building in Yousuien. The whole garden is visible from the office building, which relaxes both our employees and guests. To protect the beauty of this garden, which undergoes various changes every season, we constantly maintain the garden for environmental conservation.
