POC Specialist

Job Description:

This person will report to Respective Zonal Manager
Typical Geographical Coverage: At least half a state. In some cases, even entire state.
Typical markets to cover: Tier 2 cities and their peripheral towns
Typical work: 15 days HQ, 10 days OS / Ex-Station
Typical customers to cover:

1.Physicians clinics
2.Physicians / Surgeons with small in-patient facility
3.Small hospital s
4.Technician run independent labs
5.Local pharmaceutical companies.

Requirement

  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years in Sales of small IVD devices like Urine analyzers, HbA1c analyzers, electrolyte, Hemoglobin analyzer etc
  • Qualification: Science / Life Science / Engineering Graduate
  • Previous Work Experience / Industry: IVD Instrument Sales
  • Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving Sales, Growth & Customer Support activities of the Point-of-Care (POC) range of products - HbA1c analyzer, Microalbumin analyzer, Dry-chemistry Electrolyte analyzer, Hemoglobin analyzer and its accompanying reagents.
  • Develop optimum distribution channels in the assigned geographical area.
  • Ensure distributors comply with company commercial norms.
  • Technical knowledge to address basic technical queries raised by the customer.
  • Collect, Manage and Analyze key market data regarding competitors and our own customers.
  • Help in the Market Research for launch of new products
  • Co-ordinating with departments for ensuring smooth operation of business in assigned HQ.
